PLAN DESIGN MODEL
The Edison Healthcare plan waives out-of-pocket costs when members use a Smart Care Medical Center.
In addition to the full cost of treatment, the benefit includes travel and lodging expenses for both the patient and a caregiver. The Edison Healthcare Service Team will explain the benefits of Edison Healthcare to your employees and eligible dependents then coordinate all travel (i.e. flights, hotel and transportation).
***HSA compatible plans require special handling. Very generous plans may need non-network benefit reduction.
